Articles of Organization are required in every State. While some States need only a simple one or two page form filled out, the actual Articles are required by banks, lending institutions, auditors, and courts. Articles have to do with how the LLC is formed. A simple name and address, entity name, and registered agent, does not meet this requirement, though it is sufficient to register a name with the State. Articles should contain as much information about the formation of the company as possible in order to protect those involved, such as Members, Managers, Officers, and Investors. The m ore complete the Articles, the less likely the company can be successfully attacked
